In partnership with Elundini Packpackers & community based organization LEO (Learn to Earn to Own 152-472 NPO), working to make arts accessible in some of the most marginalized rural communities of Southern Africa, in times of uncertainty and change, to aid in the holistic development of young learners by:
- Providing access to computer technology, managed in a safe & secure environment,
administered by a facilitator trained by IVYHF. - Facilitate skills workshops, to empower young people to be creators, problem solvers, story
tellers, and innovators! - And facilitating creative learning to stimulate interest in the following themes: ‘My
heritage’, ‘SuperScientists’, ‘Life in Lockdown’ and ‘The water cycle/Water pollution’.
We are finding solutions to bridge the gaps of the digital divide by finding creative, sustainable solutions to invest in our youth.

Connection Zone
Established during lockdown 2020, aimed at bridging the widening gap of poverty in education especially in previously disadvantaged areas where learners were unable to attend school in person, nor online like their suburban counterparts in metropolitan areas.
The computer center ‘connection zone’ is part of our #ARTSACCESS4ALL campaign which brings access to creative learning material to learners in rural areas where access to technology is scarce. The project sees employment of women in the village who assist learners with research / homework and reading exercises three times a week.
This project is sustained through our crowdfunding campaign on Backabuddy which you can visit here:
